Making Eye Contact

Making eye contact with a student is incredibly important when giving praise or even when talking about anything in general.  We almost always make eye contact when we are mad or correcting a mistake, but we also need to make eye contact when we are praising.  Making eye contact means that what you are saying is important.  Not making eye contact means that you are not really interested in what they have to say.
